MacKenzie Tierney-Smith
SCAA Certified Barista and Barista Trainer
MacKenzie began his work in the coffee industry in 2006 as the student manager of a campus coffee shop in Birmingham, Alabama. He moved to Nashville in 2010 and has worked as manager and barista trainer for several coffee houses around the city, including consulting for new builds and 3 years as co-owner/operator of the beloved and dearly missed Terminal Cafe {RIP}. He has spent the last four years expanding his love of liquids as bar manager and head bartender at bars around the city, but his love of coffee has never wavered.
